AUGUSTA BREWING COMPANY

After a nice drive in the country, we came along a cool brewery along the Missouri river. The beer was really good and the setting was great. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I had their I.P.A. which was nice, no crappy aftertaste, and I also had their American Wheat. Not something I would normally go for, but it wasn't a traditional wheat beer. More on the bitter side and not too fruity. Very, very nice!

  2. Hey there. I like the photo of the Augusta Brewing Company. The tank looks cool. Is it just for looks or do they really use it for something? Not for the brewing process surly (outside?). Anyway, looks like a place I'd like to visit.

Dahmer, what a creep. Neat pictures though and just think, you're just ONE step away from famousnes.

    Prost!

  3. They actually brew about 15 miles away from this location. This place is located right off the Katy Trail which runs almost the entire width of MIssouri along the Missouri River. This is a common stop for those choosing to bike the nearly 200 mile trek. It would be really fun to do, assuming there were cool places like this at every place you would like to stop. There was a bar next to Augusta called the Sea Witch...but it has closed down. I wouldn't mind buying it, but its currently listed at $300K.
